ANIMAL AMUSEMENT!

On behalf of Amy Giera, Heather Jones and Lauren Nee, we welcome you to Animal Amusement! We hope that you enjoy exploring through fun links and pictures about those we love so much, ANIMALS! As creators of this blog, we all agreed that our world would be non-existent if it were not for our animal friends. Animals are big attributes in our lives which is why they are the driving force behind our blog. Visitors of this blog have the opportunity to read through many jokes and stories, play fun learning games, and also tell of their own funny animal stories. Visitors may also read about our blogging experiences or look through our posts while leaving comments of their own. Through this blog we hope to share our love for animals while promoting writing, reading and computer literacy skills to viewers. We hope this blog becomes a learning tool for teachers and young children, for it taught us more than we could of imagined.

I have a husky dog named Nyah, and when a fire truck drives by our house with the sirens on, she runs to the back door and barks at me to let her out. When she is outside, she howls until she cannot hear the sirens anymore.

I had a pony called Paddy, and we used to feed him ice cream. When he ate the ice cream, he used to put his top lip right up to the sky. It was funny to watch him do it, but I guess you had to be there.

I LOVE your blog ladies! I would have never thought to do something like this. I am so proud to be a member! You have great pictures and really cool links. I love how personal it is--you made the blog seem like a genuine community. I appreciate your efforts to advocate animals because, I too, love animals. In fact, I wanted to be a veterinarian ever since I was a little girl. However, I was badly attacked by an Akita a few years ago, so now I'm studying to be an elementary school teacher. I still love animals, I just can't bring myself to work with them after what happened. As anyone else had any bad experiences with animals?

Here's my pet story Part I:
My supposedly pedigree chihuahua, Jackal, is such a wierdo. Have you ever seen the Big Mouth Billy Bass? Well, "J Bird" cannot help but sing when he hears the tunes of his favorite singing fish. I think it's a little dog thing - singing.
